The First Summer Workshop in Experimental Economics and Social Sciences will be held at the University of Auckland Business School in the beautiful city of Auckland on Wednesday, January 16 and Thursday, January 17, 2008. The workshop will include speakers from New Zealand and Australia and will have a broad focus covering topics not only in experimental economics and also in other experimental social sciences including psychology and sociology.
The keynote speaker is Professor Andrew Schotter of New York University and he will talk about "Natural Language in Announcement Games".

Here are the Abstracts of the Papers presented at the workshop. Copies of papers can be obtained by e-mailing the corresponding authors. The e-mail addresses of all participants appear in the conference schedule, in case they are not listed on the abstract.
Location: All sessions will be held in Seminar Room 321 on level 3 of the University of Auckland Business School, Owen G. Glenn Building, 12 Grafton Road, Auckland. This is a short walk from The Quadrant where participants will be staying. Here is a map of the relevant part of the campus.
