Lecturers,
Tutors, Office Hours
Classes are on Tuesday 2:00
to 3:00 in Clock Tower south Wing Room 39, Wednesday 8:00 to 9:00 (Sorry. Not
my most preferred option either) in Science Centre Room 101, and Friday from
11:00 to 12:00 in
Conference Centre Building Room 348. The
lecturer is Associate Professor John Hillas.
His office is Room 6111 in the Owen G Glenn Building. His office
hours are Wednesday 10:00 am to 10:50 and Thursday 11:00 am to 11:50. He will also this year be taking all the
tutorials.
Tutorials
There will be 3
tutorials. Tutorials will start in the
second week of the semester. The
tutorial times and locations are
Wed 1:00 pm, Owen G Glenn Building, Room 319
Fri 12 noon, North Wing Human Sciences Building, Room 211
Readings
and Problems
Each class through the semester
there are some readings or problems for you to read before class and some
problems to do after class. Some of the
problems given for you to do after each class will be covered in the tutorials
of the following week. Answers to
problems will not be provided until after the tutorials in which they are
covered. The idea in this course is very
much that you should do the problems yourself, and if you are having difficulty
in doing any of the problems that you be able to articulate your difficulties
and get help in the tutorials.

course, only become available after the assignment is due, and will then become
available very quickly. For this reason late assignments will not
be accepted.)
