There are a wealth of other problems available from the material on this site and you are encouraged to do as much as you can. Below are some homework from previous years, together with answers. There is less here than there appears because some of the homework, perhaps most, is the same in each year. Included is only material I prepared. Thus there is no material from 2010, when I did not teach the course, and for many years there is only material from half the semester, when I taught only half the course. The course coverage has changed a little over time so while this material should be useful you should not use it as your primary indication of what will be covered on the test and the final exam. The tutorial homework and assignments from this year are a better guide for that.

There are no answers to Assignment 4 from 2002. It is very similar to Assignment 4 in 2001.

Fixed Point Theorems Some notes on various aspects of fixed point theorems. Almost all the material here is much more advanced than anything we shall do in this course. It might be a useful reference for someone who wants to go beyond what we shall do. Even then if you want to study something systematically you probably want to go to a more systematic presentation. However a number of students elsewhere have said they have found this material useful.
